About Coach Web:

Jake “Coach Web” Webster serves the NextPlay family as our Director of Basketball. Along with working for Next Play, Coach Web is entering his 6th season on the coaching staff at SCH Academy, where he serves as the Associate Head Coach. In previous years, he spent two seasons as the Freshman Team head coach and two as the JV head coach, accumulating a 55-16 record and leading teams to Inter-Ac titles in 2023 & 2024. Before joining the Next Play team, Jake spent four seasons coaching at East Coast Power, two seasons as a student manager at the University of South Carolina under coach Frank Martin, and a year as a basketball operations intern at LaSalle University. Additionally, Jake has extensive experience in the private training world, working with several Division I players, as well as experience running various camps and clinics.
